Description

Sidney Haywoode presents her vocal method: SoulJoy — a path to voice and joy.

SoulJoy is more than a singing class: it is a journey toward awakening the inner light that resides in every person. For Sidney, this approach is rooted in a lifetime of Buddhist practice, though the method itself is universal and inclusive. Through the voice, the body vibrates, harmonizes with others, and generates a field of shared joy. The aim is simple yet transformative: that each participant leaves the experience shining with their SoulJoy voice—free, confident, and deeply connected.

What makes SoulJoy unique?

Haywoode’s exceptional background—over 45 years as an international artist and vocal coach, and more than 40 years of Buddhist practice—nurtures the method with artistry, spirituality, and an approach informed by neuroplasticity. Inspired by brain coherence and the spontaneity of the inner child, SoulJoy goes far beyond technique: it teaches the inner play of singing.

Participants not only learn how to sing but also how to rediscover and cherish their own artistry, to embrace their voice, and to express and use it with pride and confidence.

Objectives

Inner Transformation

Each voice is as unique as a fingerprint. In SoulJoy, participants discover that just as we speak freely—without inhibition or self-judgment—we can also sing without comparison. The body becomes the instrument, and the voice its soul. Through breathwork, sensory awareness, and a gentle dialogue with the inner critic (“Thank you, but please relax”), singers open a new relationship with themselves. The playful and curious SoulJoy voice is invited to emerge—free, authentic, and alive.

The Power of Singing Together

Group singing calls for courage and vulnerability, which flourish in trust. In SoulJoy, participants discover the joy of giving and receiving support, learning that harmony work is both unifying and deeply healing. Improvisation builds confidence, while working together on a song creates a safe and joyful space for shared growth and community.

Tangible Benefits

Participants consistently experience:

• Greater freedom of expression and enjoyment in their voice

• Confidence and ease in their unique sound

• Reduced anxiety and emotional release through singing

• Technical improvement: breath control, vocal range, resonance

• A deeper understanding of how their voice truly works
